Pop at House of Fraser is giving promising new retail brands and a platform to access stylish House of Fraser customers in store and online.
The not-for-profit foundation has teamed up with House of Fraser to offer ten promising retail brands the opportunity to be stocked in House of Fraser’s flagship Oxford Street store in a ‘POP at HOF’ pop up market later this year.
Budding brands can enter to win the residency online here and the winner will be selected through a two-stage competition with the short-listed talent competing live in front of an expert judging panel including House of Fraser COO Nigel Oddy, Dress2Kill Founder James Hibbert, Liz Houghton, Founder of Mint Velvet, Anna Murphy, Editor of Stella magazine and Katy Young, Beauty Editor at The Daily Telegraph.
Nine winners will get the opportunity to sell their wares in House of Fraser Oxford Street (Europe’s busiest shopping street!) for two weeks, chosen directly by the judging panel with a tenth overall winner chosen by House of Fraser customers on our social media channels.
Winners will also be showcased on www.houseoffraser.co.uk and will be mentored by the experienced House of Fraser and Great Retail Revival Foundation teams to get them fighting fit and ‘High Street’ ready.
The competition is open to any small retail brands that have been trading for a minimum of two years. To apply, log onto www.thegreatretailrevival.org and fill out your details.
Winners will be revealed on 2nd April 2014. The pop-up store will run for two weeks finishing on 26th May 2014 upon which a single brand will be chosen and given the opportunity to retail at House of Fraser for a year online at House of Fraser
